30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 7--(the promise of) a New Grocery Store

We are very thankful to have 2 fairly "American" grocery stores about a 10 minute drive from our house (I think one is actually owned by Walmart).  Although we are never guaranteed to find what we are looking for, it is nice to have this option, and every once and awhile we are surprised to find a special treat, like Cool Whip or canned pumpkin! And now, we are even more excited that a new store, La Colonia is being built about a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk from our house.  We anticipate being thankful for this convenience in a country where things are not always convenient. It has been in progress for the last 9 months, and we are hopeful that it will be completed soon.
