30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 15--Henry, our Performer

We are always thankful for Henry, but today we are especially thankful for his creativity, his love of music, and his confidence.  Last night, he sang the song "I Have a Maker/He Knows My Name" while doing sign language (thanks to a personalized youtube class from his Aunt Biffy!) in NCA's annual talent show, and he did a beautiful job.  We are also thankful for his humility.  We coached him through this whole process that he might not make it past the auditions, that he probably wouldn't win, that we would be proud if he just did his best, and he seems to have taken that all to heart, even though he did end up winning 3rd place.  It is always a privilege to see your children grow and develop and last night it was fun to see Henry display a combination of Andrew's music talent with my lack of inhibition. We are so thankful for the gift of Henry!
