It is often the jobs that no one knows about that are the most important. I doubt many of you realize what my mom, Jan, does for us. She manages our US bank account, depositing any checks we receive and writing checks when we need her to. She goes through our mail to see what is important, and often follows up with loose ends. She just recently went to the Grand Rapids Honda dealer to inquire about and order parts to send for our Odyssey which is impossible to get parts for here in Managua. She makes phone calls about medical bills and visas. She is always trying to raise excitement, awareness and funds for us in the churches that support us, even without being asked. We are so thankful for her willingness to go above and beyond the call of being mom and meeting needs we never anticipated.
