30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 4--Rain

Nicaragua needs rain.  The crops are drying up instead of flourishing, and this means financial hardship and hunger for many.  It used to be that when it would rain, I would think about the mud tracked all over my house, the mold growing in my shoes, and the puddle we have to slosh through to get to our car.  Now, instead, I think 'Thank you, God!  The people of Nicaragua NEED this rain." It is still not raining nearly often enough, but when it does, we are thankful (and muddy and moldy:).

A big downpour recently flooded a bridge that we have to cross to get to our house.  Click here to watch a video of the flooded bridge.  The morning after, Andrew worked with several men to get the bridge back up and running again.
