Two years in as monkey owners, and we'll readily admit we're not always thankful for Dexter. He smells and breaks stuff and likes to puppy bite while peeing on your arm. All the time. But usually we are thankful for our unique, crazy pet. Our kids continue to enjoy him (in small spurts), and it is just simply fun to watch Dexter explore the world, beat up large dogs, and leap from 20 feet into the air into our hammock. He's a little too mischieveous to allow to run free during the day, so now he usually comes out from his cage at night for a little while, after our kids are in bed. Here's a clip from our typical peaceful evening with Dexter tonight. Not the greatest quality, but who doesn't love to watch a short clip of a monkey?
