30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 15--Unique Creatures

One of Andrew's dreams is to become a naturalist when he retires. He loves to explore nature with the curiosity of a child, so you can imagine his excitement today when our neighbor brought over a large, dead, ant-covered bug that his boys had named the "alligator butterfly."

 
 
After spending several minutes analyzing every detail of this new creature, he hopped up and ran inside to do some internet research to find out what it was. The answer, a peanut-head bug. Who knew there was such a thing as a peanut-head bug? Not me!

 

So while many of you are thankful for God's beautiful creation of sunsets, flowers, and oceans, we are thankful for God's unique creation of crazy, funny looking, interesting creatures.
